DESCRIPTION Diversey Harbor is located in the heart of Lincoln Park, approximately 3.5 nm north of the main Chicago harbor entrance. It is solely a harbor for power boats. Within walking distance is the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Lincoln Park Botanical Gardens. |
APPROACHES The approaches are clear from all directions. The entrance is marked with a Fl RED light and a Fl GREEN light. There is a fixed bridge spaning the entrance with a charted height of 14 ft/4.3 m. |

Restrooms and showers are available. There is internet access. Diversey Yacht Club (773) 929-8819 DYC has transient slips available on a reciprocal basis. There is a fuel dock (diesel and gasoline) and pumpout station. There are restrooms and showers at their clubhouse as well as a restaurant and bar. The club has internet access. |

PLACES TO EAT There are countless restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhoods west of Diversey harbor. North Clark Street runs roughly parallel to the shoreline and has many interesting restaurants along its way. A few that might interest you are Doc Wine Bar where you can sample a range of wines, Del Seoul for their Korean dishes, Kabuki for their sushi and the Austrian Bakery and Deli for their authentic and mouth-watering pasteries. |
