Hilton Beach,

We really loved this marina even though we visited in July 2020 when no one was there. Welcoming and helpful staff, docks and boardwalks are hosed down every day. Boaters facilities well appointed and clean. Easy to find your slip with different coloured flags at the end of each dock, plus easier to judge wind direction and speed.

Not many amenities in town, but I would add follow: the boardwalk to the south-west around a few houses to find a small park and beach. Take water shoes as the beach sand is mixed with rocks.

Second is provisioning. The Island Market in Richard's Landing will deliver to Hilton Beach saving the long trip around St Joseph's Island if your mast won't clear the Twyning Island bridge. The store delivers on Wednesdays and Saturdays if you call in your order the day before. This market seems to have just about everything, including hand made sausages and frozen bread and bun dough that is easy to bake on board (I did buns in our toaster oven). The frozen dough takes up little freezer space - the buns were the size of a timbit while frozen.
