DESCRIPTION

Britt Ontario is located on the north shore of the Magnetawan River on Byng Inlet. The village of Byng Inlet lies directly across the river from Britt. The Magnetawan River runs west from Magnetawan Lake in Algonquin Park to Greorgian Bay, entering at Byng Inlet. originally a logging village, Britt became a coal depot for the CPR railroad. Today, this quiet little village is focused on tourism. It has a busy waterfront and is also a popular winterdestination for snowmobilers.
